WGAF: SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS ALBUM AND YOUR PREVIOUS RELEASES?
Supertre: Basically, it's a whole different sound. More professional. The last 2 releases were very low budget, I recorded them shits with a mic that I got from Walmart. But we still moved some units, anyway. This time around though we spent some money and you can tell from the jump, the quality is a hundred times better. And content wise, you know me, I push the envelope with everything I do, so you can expect a nigga to take it there. You gonna be doin a lot of rewinding when you hear this shit.
WGAF: EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU AND OTHER RAPPERS?
Supertre: I don't concern myself with what other rappers is doin. I don't want to sound like I'm hatin, but I let them niggas do they thing. And I do my thing. I represent Charleston, I represent South Carolina, but I don't think everybody from the area sounds the same. It is what it is. But I listen to them niggas...Charleston niggas is raw, support them niggas! Buy that shit!
WGAF: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG ON THE ALBUM?
Supertre: That's hard. There is a lot of heat on this one. I really like "Up In This Bitch", it's a club joint and it's burnin the radio down south. I got a joint called "Summertime" also doin good. Basically, I like all the joints, like I said money was spent on this album so it's definitely something for everybody on there. "Hey Tre" is probably my favorite though.
