This song and record are the result of rage and pain engendered by the actions of George Bush and his administration. The writer of the song, Warner Schwebke, a product of the baby boom generation and the cultural wars of the sixties and early seventies, had settled into a comfortable life of session work and composing for films. He did not want to be involved in politics and all of that but 9/11, the passage of the patriot act, the invasion of Afghanistan, the hunt for Bin Laden, and the drum beats of war and the invasion of Iraq forced him to wake up and become involved with the issues and the removal of George Bush and his administration.

the song was composed and brought to the core of the Yard Dogs, two very successful musicians in the session world of Los Angeles. Doc West has worked and written for such acts as Chicago, Buddy Guy, Steven Stills, The Afternoon Delights, Ike and Tina Turner, The Motown Staff Band, Oddesey, The Yard Dogs, and many others in the past thirty years. Craig Fall has worked as a sideman with such established artists as Stevie Wonder, Glenn Campbell, Dorsie Burnnet, Donny and Marie Osmond, The Beach Boys, and was Roger Millers musical director. They immediately started to work on the song and it was finished in three sessions. Doc West plays the accoustic rhythm guitar, the bass, the background vocals and raps the lead vocal. Craig Fall plays the electric guitars, the keyboards and the drums on the track. Doc and Craig and the president of Local Records, Bob Lefebvre, produced the song for Local Records.

Doc West is ready to tour the country in support of the record and change for this country, with his group, The Yard Dogs. He will be concentrating on the so called "battle ground" states with his choice of tour dates. Above all else, Doc wants everyone who has heard the record and agree with it's statements to vote and to help others who believe in bringing our country back to the people and to the values which have made this the greatest and most respected nation on the planet, help them to register to vote, and help get them to the polls on election day!!!!! For those that have listened to the record and hate it and believe in George Bush, Doc says the best way they can help the country is to stay home on election day!!!!!!
