Crabmeat for Kids

Jerry Thompson is a working musician, playing concert halls, restaurants, ski lodges, and bars from his home in Delaware down to Sloppy Joe's in Key West, up to Ontario and out to the Top Hat in Missoula and Fernwood in Big Sur. He also has taught Literature and Writing at several universities, and writes a monthly magazine column.

Years ago, as he played some mellow stuff for families as they waited for tables or guzzled another round, he noticed that their restless kiddies gravitated and often gyrated to his music. So it seemed only natural when he was approached by a couple of school principals that he take his music onto auditorium stages. Since then he's written tunes with environmental lessons ("Save the Bays") and incorporated positive messages about self-esteem, with the base Machiavellian aim of getting more bookings.

So far it has worked fairly well, but you'd help if you bought a couple of these CDs and passed them around so that Meat could get more widely known and travel and make big bucks. In any case, God bless, and thanks for listening.
