Curtis Coleman is a former member of the world renown folk group "The New Christy Minstrels." Over the past twelve years, after developing "Songs of Safety" (Curtis' award winning school assembly program), Curtis has brought this program to the schools and children of America in astonishing numbers. He has performed this program for thousands of schools, to millions of children and educators.
Curtis has appeared as "Special Keynote Speaker" to Principal's Conferences in 22 states, and has been an invited distinguished guest to two general assemblies of the NAESP (National Association of Elementary School Principals) state leaders conferences, 1997 and 1999.
Curtis' many awards include "Songwriter of the Year" by the CMA as well as The Parents Choice Award for "Best Elementary age Assembly in America".
