My brother was given up for dead in 2003 after having been gone from our family for 40 years. We finally decided to commemorate his passing with a wake, when suddenly in the middle of the ceremony he returned. Accompanying him on his journey was a knapsack full of esoteric songs written in a language we did not understand. He quickly translated them for us and we began to play them as everyone began to sing. This recording captures that incredible happening. I was recorded that evening with a microcassette recorder which George's Brother's mother had hidden in her hair. It was later digitally remastered until it came to sound absolutely nothing like the original recording. School Library Journal nonetheless gave it an excellent review.
