About the CD, EMOTIONS- for ages 2 to 7 years
EMOTIONS is the creation of a professional sound recording uniting some of Canada's and Vancouver's finest musicians. This sound recording is for pre-school and school aged children, ranging from years two to seven. The content of this magical sound recording is based on twenty songs, articulating twenty different emotions experienced by all ages.
Through a musical enriching and interactive experience, the young child is lead on a journey through the realms of human emotion. The child is able to identify with the script of the characters in-between songs, since they are child actors, as well as connect with the music. The songs are simple and fun!
Can be used for ESL, therapy or pure music appreciation!
The EMOTIONS book will be available soon to accompany the CD!
About MARLA ROSEN-
Marla Rosen, Honors B.A. Theatre and Certified Montessori Teacher, is a musician, actor, puppeteer, director, choreographer, dancer, and performing arts educator.
Combining her talents, Marla continues to develop quality creative and expressive arts educational programs for children across Canada. For the past four years, Marla ran and owned The Imagination Workshop, providing musical theatre and drama programs for school-aged children throughout Ontario. Simultaneous to this Marla toured with her self-written interactive puppet and musical show for pre-school aged children, "World of Fish". She has studied with a variety of talents ranging from Jim Henson trained puppeteers to good friends of Corporal Mime inventor, Marcel Marceau. She is dedicated to promoting the importance of performing arts in youth settings. She has performed, directed, choreographed and created many original works for young audiences.
