The RAGGS Kids Club Band is a REAL LIVE touring band staring five furry canine characters that perform original, award-winning music that blends a variety of musical styles including rock, folk, classical, beach, hip hop, jazz and alternative. The entire concept revolves around the band's music. RAGGS has gained an impressive grassroots following of children (and parents) who love the high-energy, interactive style and wholesome messaging about music education, fitness/sports, healthy lifestyle and pro-social development.
The band has been touring state fairs, festivals, libraries, malls and other venues successfully for 2 years. The band currently has four CDs (a total of 28 original songs) and a feature length video/DVD in release. A new CD and companion DVD titled "Unleashed," which features 14 new songs, will be released in May. A new holiday DVD about winter sports is titled "Holiday Jam" and will be released in the fall. The current music and videos have received industry awards and praise including: the iParenting Media Award, The National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval, and have been recognized for excellence in both Video Librarian Magazine and the School Library Journal.
