Silly Sally is actually Sally Shaver from Ames, Iowa. Sally has a Master's Degree in education and has taught elementary physical education for over ten years. She is a professionally trained musician who has played and performed in numerous musical groups and has written music for many years.
In addition, Sally has developed a preschool movement education program in which she uses music to facilitate movement and fitness activities for children. Sally believes that all children express themselves through movement and that music can help to channel their willingness to move their bodies. Sally is also a clown who has been "clowning around" at children's parties and central Iowa events since 1997. She is a member of Clowns of America International.
Sally has combined her love of music, animals, puppets, movement and children in creating "Silly Sally on the Go," her first CD. For this CD, she has written several original songs and arranged other kids'favorites. She interacts with the puppets on several of the CD tracts; she encourages the children to move and dance by prompting them with verbal instructions and song lyrics. In addition, an activity guide is included for suggested movements to each song.
"Silly Sally on the Go" will inspire your children to have lots of fun while they move and exercise.
