REVIEW:

WHAT?
The brainwave of keyboard player, singer and songforger GOGO. Formed in 1999 out of the ashes of may Vancouver club acts (Paul Laine, Kaos, The Broken Toys). Bass player Moon , drummer Lance (SUMP OIL) Chalmers and Gogo, while touring as members of Canadian group Trooper, wrote and recorded their psychedelic debut at Gogo's SUNPORCH studio in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island.

Gogo, a former classical piano and dance student, turned heavy metal keyboard hair monster (and art connoisseur), leans heavily towards, and brings new life to the vintage mellotron and synth sounds of the glorious prog rock era of the 70s.

Gogo, also a tech spazz shot and edited a video for every song, complete with theatrical face paint and layers and layers of colours. The music is happy festive elctro pop with not a lot of foul ideas. Most of it is quite funny, sophisticated and catchy. Gogo toured the act as a solo piano and vocal attack, submitting CDs all over the world and getting airplay in several funky nations. The Joyride! CD is very new, except good things from this group of West coast fanatics.

EASY:
Don't freak out about the future.

Try a listen to the MP3s on this site. They will tell what we can only try to explain.

If you like it, and you buy the CD, then we can make more music like this. You will be extra-groovy, and a part of something quite new, and excellent.

There is a video available for every song, and you can play this music anytime, in front of anyone, of any age, and everyone will be happy, and come out with a new idea or 2.

Feel free to EMAI the keyboard player (and singer), GOGO, TheSuperGroovyBand@shaw.ca with any insight or questions. He likes to communicate, when he is not running out and touring this groovy stuff!

THANK YOU, Love and all of that good stuff:
Gogo
