DIMENTIANON was created in January of 2002 from the remnants of THE FORGOTTEN. The lineup included two founding members of The Forgotten - vocalist, M and M. Weisbaum on drums, J. Mroz now on bass, and G. Laymen on guitar, both also from the Forgotten and J. Fogarazzo originally from Rigor Sardonicous also on guitar. They wanted to create a unique mixture of chaotic Black/Death,and Doom.
The band decided to change their name to DIMENTIANON for legal and personal reasons. They continued to work hard on new material, and in the summer of 2002, put out a three-song rehearsal promo for the new album entitled THE SEVEN SUICIDES. This was strictly limited to a 100 copies and sold out quickly. Throughout the summer, fall, and winter the band played some killer shows with such acts as Incantation, Kreator, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, further expanding their fan base. During this time, M. Weisbaum decided to part ways with the band to pursue other interests but not before he helped the band finish recording THE SEVEN SUICIDES, which was released under PARAGON RECORDS on September 23, 2003. After much searching and many failed auditions the band recently acquired new drummer R. Bohlman, whose debut show with the band was opening for Arch Enemy in August 2003.
