Covet the Knife, formed in late 2004, entered the local music scene with fists flying. The band entered a city battle of the bands as their first live performance and ended up in front of 40,000 people, performing for one of Richmond's largest annual events with other acts including Chevelle and Seether. Since then, CTK has released an 4-track EP at Planet Red studios w/ producer/engineers Chris Dowhan and Andreas Magnusson (Scarlet, Black Dahlia Murder, Winter Solstice) in late 2004. The band is back with their debut full-length "The Things You Didn't Know Would've Killed You", recorded at WreckRoom Studios with Jeremy Smith (Gwar, All That Remains), Mike Shipley (Blues Traveler), and Ronnie Gardner (Underoath). Covet the Knife is currently promoting the release of their new album, searching for a label that is willing to match the amount of effort put in by this dedicated band, and touring the US for the next 35 years. Expect many albums to come, but for now, this album is not going to be leaving your cd player anytime soon.
