Go Smack Alice is a heavy band out of Winchester, Virginia. We consist of top notch players and love what we do. Go Smack Alice focuses around the vocals, bass and writing of Jay Powell. Guitarists Reese Scruggs and Mike Salins provide the heavy crunch while Allen Lind and provides the solid drumming and rythmic backbone. The current recording, "Slapped" was released recently and contains much of the original material the band has been performig over the past 2 years. Also included is a killer version of the Beatles, Elenor Rigby. As far The first song, American Bitch Slap; this is the Go Smack Alice reaction to 911. Al-Qaeda is the Bitch name for Al-Qaeda. Go Smack Alice = Kick Al-Qaeda's ASS! Already a new GSA CD is in the works with some great tracks. Look for it late Summer/Fall! Rock on.
