After the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled independent EP, OIL makes their debut on Kaluboné Records with their new album "Refine". Formed in 1997 in Southern California, the band consists of Blake Nelson (guitar), Jason Vander Pal (drums), Matthew Joy (bass), and Ron Rinehart (vocals) formally of the band Dark Angel.
The members of Oil have seen success in the music industry at various levels. Ron Rinehart has toured worldwide, had successful albums, and even had videos on MTV as former vocalist for the metal band Dark Angel back in the early 90's. Blake Nelson found success in the Hollywood metal scene in several bands throughout the 80's and early 90's. Now together with their new band, the two are in search of new success with their debut offering "Refine".
