---Silence the Fall: Band Bio---
Silence the Fall is more than just a rock band. It's a group of musicians who set out to create a different style and sound. Drawing influences from metal, jazz, hardcore, funk and classic rock, this group of friends who met at college are bringing the world a different kind of rock n roll; a kind that grabs the listeners' attention and really boasts their talents. Fronted by melodic female vocalist Ania Bogdanowicz, STF is setting their mark on a genre dominated by male singers, and is proving their unique sound can stand strong. With percussive funk bass lines (Marc Wallace) thick creative rhythm guitars (Jon D'Urso), classic rock n roll solos (Tommy Venom) and chaotic tom-driven drumming (Mark Nunez), STF is pushing the limit to the edge. After enjoying some time on independent label 4 Dot 6 Records, STF has parted ways with the company, taken their manager Jamie Bush (formerly of Arista Records) and has gone into the studio to record and self-produce their debut EP entitled "It's Only Forever." Averaging 300 plays per day and hitting the #10 metal band spot in their first week alone on purevolume.com, Silence the Fall is ready to blow up and show the world that it is possible to take the best of different styles of music and create something beautiful. ---Ania Bogdanowicz--- ESTABLISHED: 3/25/82 HOME TOWN: Marlboro, NJ PURPOSE: Vocals/Lyrics INFLUENCES: Alice In Chains, Incubus, No Doubt IDOLS: Layne Stayley, Gwen Stefani GEAR: Vocal Chords ---Marc Wallace--- ESTABLISHED: 11/4/79 HOME TOWN: Little Silver, NJ PURPOSE: Bass/More Bass INFLUENCES: Primus, Metallica, Mudvayne, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Dream Theater, The Postamn Syndrome, Norma Jean, The Cosmonaut Trio, My Brother IDOLS: Les Claypool(Primus), Victor Lemonte Wooten(Bela Fleck and the Flecktones), Ryan Martini(Mudvayne) GEAR: Fodera 4-string, Jens Ritter Custom Tenor 5-string (Spalt Maple over Mahogany), David Eden DC-Metro Combo, David Eden Cabs (D410XLT/D215XLT), QSC RMX 2450 Power Amp, DR Hi-Beams 100-32 ---Jonathan D'Urso--- ESTABLISHED: 9/24/1982 HOME TOWN: Middletown,NJ PURPOSE: Guitar/Lyrics INFLUENCES: Metallica, Killswitch Engage, Opeth, In Flames, Pink Floyd, Pulse Ultra, Dream Theater, A Perfect Circle, Thrice, Mudvayne, The Postman Syndrome, 30 Seconds To Mars, System Of A Down, Poison The Well, Mad At Gravity, Silverchair, Incubus HEROES: Hetfield/Hammett (Metallica), Stroetzal/Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage), Ciferelli (Pulse Ultra), Akerfelt (Opeth) WEAPONS: ESP EC-1000 (EMG 81's), ESP EC-300 (EMG 81/89), MESA Rectoverb, Roland Jazz Chorus, DR Tight Fite Strings, Dunlop Nylon Pics (1mm) ---Tommy Venom--- ESTABLISHED: 5/28/93 HOME TOWN: West Orange, NJ PURPOSE: The Art of Shredding FAVORITE BANDS: Jane's Addiction, Jellyfish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, D'Urso INFLUENCES: Mr. David Navaro GEAR: PRS Custom 22, Marshall JCM-2000, Marshall 1960 4X12 Cab. ---Mark Nunez--- ESTABLISHED: 4/19/82 HOME TOWN: Middletown, NJ PURPOSE: Drums and a Ham FAVORITE BANDS: Poison the Well, Every Time I Die, Killswitch Engage, The Bled, As I Lay Dying, Norma Jean, Metallica, Megadeth, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Benny Goodman, The Get Up Kids, Weezer , Mos Def, Cypress Hill INFLUENCES: 95% Chris Hornbrook(Poison the Well) , 5% Ryan Pope(The Get Up Kids) GEAR: 5-piece Tama Star Classic, Zildjian A-Custom Cymbols, DW 7000 Double Bass Pedal Check out the artist's website: http://www.silencethefall.com Track List: 1.
