This Sanskrit chamber ensemble, BREATHING ROOM, has poured their passion for chanting and breadth of musical experience into their debut CD, "Namo Namah."
"Namo Namah" is an astounding blend of Western virtuoso instrumentation (double bass, classical guitar, tabla, and hammered dulcimer), exquisite 3-part vocal harmonies and traditional Indian chant. Tina Bergmann was named "best dulcimer player I have heard in my life" by the legendary folk musician, Pete Seeger.
"Namo Namah" is perfect for long car rides, devotional practice, or as background music at art galleries, yoga studios, or gatherings at home.
If you have had your fill of highly mixed reverb, "Namo Namah" is a sublime acoustic alternative. Recorded in a concert hall, what you hear is pure, intimate and transcendent.
