The first thing the listener hears is crickets and a rain forest stream which evolves into tropical birds singing at the break of dawn. The piano and harp concert begins and plays, without track breaks, as one continuous program that lasts 42 minutes and 51 seconds. Two trips to Costa Rica in 2005 paid off with the great rain forest sounds heard on this CD. We think this is one of the most relaxing CD's ever.
Information about Keith Scott can be found on his other project pages at CD Baby or at www.turnonrecords.com. Keith plays piano and his daughter Amy plays harp.
Amy has a BS and a BA degree from the University of South Florida and has been playing harp since her junior high school years. Just out of college, Amy was an award winning grade school music teacher. She is now a harpist and a massage therapist, and her massage clients are already requesting this CD almost exclusively for their sessions. This is Keith and Amy's first Father/Daughter project but more are in the works.
Eroica Records CEO, Larry Russell says: "We are so excited about this release of Artist Keith Scott performing with his daughter Amy. This CD will surely be a huge success. Keith's last release on EROICA/TURN ON RECORDS, WAIKIKI, has already proven to be a sure indicator of his great artistry and special sense of commercial appeal. Amy plays the harp like an Angel and really puts the icing on Keith's cake as they change back and forth on this great CD."
Two original tunes, "Song for Daughter" and "Lifetime of Todays" are combined with some traditional folk, classical and inspirational compositions. Bach, a Chopin Waltz and soft rock round out this relaxing project.
There will be upcoming reviews for this CD which will be posted at CDBaby as they arrive.
