MYSTIC PETE" (PETER LUDWIG), cellist, vocalist, producer and meditation teacher, has had an unconventional musical career. He started playing cello in 3rd grade when his school offered lessons for $6 per year. His vocal work began when he was training to be a medium and started chanting in other-worldly voices. Eventually he quit mediumship. The voices, however, stayed.
He has played in orchestras, accompanied poets such as Coleman Barks, produced the world/dance band, "Tonehenge," and now leads groups on inner journeys through sound. His tours of the U.S. West coast has included Agape Church, Esalen, Center For The Moving Arts, SOMARTS, Temple Bar, Liberation Yoga, Highways and B.B. Kings, and he has had several live radio appearances on KPFK and KXLU in Los Angeles, including on The Aware Show with Lisa Garr.
