Nina is a gifted sound healing musician whose journey weaves her natural sense of music with 29 years of professional experience in the healing arts. She began studying expressive sound and movement as a young child at ther Rockland Foundation Center for the Arts, in New York. Nina has continued to study voice and sound healing in New York, the Midwest, and on the West Coast. She has also trained in Siberian Shamanism with Sorengeral in New York, following nine years of active membership in shamanic healing-journing circles in Oregon.
Over time Nina began creating her own unique combination of sound healing-journeying work,
developing a new healing modality called Pravada, which weaves together several original therapeutic approaches. These include Pravada Sound Healing, Sound Journeying, Pravada Sound Movement, and Pravada Healing Meditation. Pravada Sound Healing works with tonal, energetic re-balancing using high to low pitched vibrational frequencies with voice and original music on native flutes. Pravada Sound Journeying provides an avenue for receiving internal spirit guidance through sound, resulting in a greater syncronicity in daily life.
Nina is an MSW psychotherapist with 25 years in private practice, a Usui Reiki Master, a Pravada Sound Healing-Journeying Therapist, Sound Movement Therapist, and meditation teacher. She offers individual sessions, healing treatments, Pravada Sound Movement classes, and Listening Inside...Opening to Spirit - Pravada Sound Healing- Journeying Circles, and concerts.
Nina's music is featured on her CD recordings entitled: Listening Inside, Trust Your Inner Wisdom, Sounding- Journeys For Inner Truth ( Vol. 1 and 2), and Let The River Flow.
