The second album from Terra Ambient, The Gate is an exploration in deep, rhythmic drones, with harmonic overtone singing, bansuri melodies and thick guitar textures. "The Gate" was produced devoid of synthesizers or drum machines. All instruments and instrument samples were recorded live and deconstructed with processing.
In it's first year of relelase, the CD has had extensive radio airplay both internationally and here at home, including syndicated radio programs like "Echoes", "Hearts of Space", and philadephia based radio show "stars end". The Gate as also found it's way to many "best of 2004" lists.
