All music composed, arranged, and performed by Aaron Meyer. ------------------------------------------ AARON'S BIO Aaron began playing piano when he was 4 years old and was performing professionally by age eleven. In May 2000, he released "Journey", a CD of ten original compositions. His second solo CD, "Arrival," was released in February 2004. Aaron has appeared on KCET (PBS Los Angeles) in a spot entitled, "Inspiration is Priceless," which features a biography about him and his compositions, and has appeared live on KCET with Yanni. Aaron is a writer member of ASCAP and is a 3 time recipient of the ASCAPlus Music Award. In May 2003, Aaron premiered "Arrival," his first work for piano and wind ensemble. Aaron has been a finalist in several piano competitions including the New West Symphony Discovery Artists, Contemporary Festival, Southern California Jr. Bach Festival, Valley Cultural Center Music Competition and the Liana Cohen Music Festival. He recently performed at the Panel Honors Recital for the Music Teachers Association of California convention in Santa Clara, and frequently performs for charitable organizations throughout Los Angeles. In July 2003, he performed Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto with the Conejo Concerto Orchestra. In addition to playing piano, Aaron is an award-winning percussionist. He is currently a percussionist in the Stanford Wind Ensemble and has also performed with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra, the Calabasas High School Wind Ensemble, the CSUN Youth Philharmonic and the Idyllwild Festival Wind Ensemble. Aaron has also been selected to perform with the All-Southern and All-State High School Honor Bands. Aaron, now 20, is currently attending Stanford University as a music major.
