Before Cindy Kleinstuber Blevins became a harpist and composer for harp, before the days of Sonar and Gigastudio sampled sounds, she wrote her emotional, vivid, complex pieces with a keyboard, sequencer, and one sound module. Although now a respected harp composer, with a new album ("Falling To Heaven") of original music for harp and orchestra, Cindy still believes in her first full length work, "Out of the Blue," which was released under the artist name "Cynda." Cindy's most frequent comment on this album, as well as her newer work, is "I listen to your music over and over and over. I never get tired of it." Please read more about Cindy Kleinstuber Blevins by checking out the "Falling To Heaven" album.

Tracks 5 ("Waltzing in the Park after Dark,") 6 ("Lullaby for the Park Bench Sleepers,") and 7 ("Sunday Morning Carriage Ride,")of "Out of the Blue" comprise a larger work titled "Suite Central Park." This Suite was conceived after a 1989 trip to New York City, where Ms. Kleinstuber Blevins took a carraige ride through Central Park, observing, along with walkers, runners, bikers and sightseers, homeless people sleeping on the park benches, wrapped in raggedy blankets or coats. She envisioned the park after sunset, where she imagined it would take on an entirely different character.

There is a wonderful piano transcription of this Suite available at www.cindykleinstuber.com., one of Cindy's 18 books of origin piano music.
