Donny Holcombe is an independent Recording Producer and Composer who lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Since early childhood, music has been the central focal point of his life, and his musical education includes study at the Berklee College of Music. He has worked in professional recording studios as a multi-instrument Session Player, Vocalist, Songwriter, Recording Engineer and Producer for eighteen years. Donny has produced several CD's for highly acclaimed songwriters david m. bailey, Nick McAlister, and Duane Slaymaker and has made many compositions for television. His 1997 musical compilation is the instrumental work entitled "Awake From Yesterday". The title demonstrates Donny's diverse talents as a Composer, Musician and Recording Engineer/Producer. "Awake From Yesterday" was recorded almost entirely at Donny's digital project recording studio/retreat in Virginia, which is appropriately named "Sacred Ground Recording".
