La Jolla Suite combines the beauty of nature with 12 original piano compositions by Edward Weiss, a talented San Diego pianist/composer. In each piece he carefully interprets a different coastal mood and creates a tranquil yet emotional voyage.
ABOUT EDWARD WEISS
Edward Weiss is a talented pianist, composer and educator. According to Solo Piano Publications which awarded him the accolade, "major player among contemporary pianist and composers," he is "passionate about teaching others how to play piano in the New Age style."
Edward has taught New Age piano for more than 14 years and works with adults in private, in groups, and now over the internet.
Educated at the University of California, San Diego, Edward has traveled and lived throughout the United States. He is also president of Quiescence Music, a New Age music company he founded to market and distribute his nature-themed solo piano music. His two CDs "La Jolla Suite" and "Anza-Borrego Desert Suite" have sold over 250,000 copies.
Now a resident in the San Diego area, Edward continues to teach and write music in his own studio. His philosophy toward music and life in general is to make it fun!
