Notes on Fix the Human's "Drift"
This creative duo uses wind instruments, keyboards, guitars, real-world sound samples and ethnic drums in innovative ways. "Drift", their debut CD, is an ambient musical journey through a tranquil world. Eleven unique sound portraits, first conceived through improvisation, then further developed compositionally, each one drifting gently to the next, creating a one-hour backdrop to relaxation, massage, meditation, yoga, contemplation or dinner with good friends.
