Kaleah, a singer/songwriter living in Sedona, Arizona brings her wealth of experience in personal development and spiritual growth into the music arena. Gifted with an incredibly powerful and beautiful, multi octave voice, Kaleah uses her music not only to express her own personal journey of healing and transformation but to inspire others on their journey.
Although her music falls into the "New Age" Genre for its healing/transformational qualities, it also crosses over to Adult Contemporary Genre with soul sisters like Sara McLachlan, Tori Amos, Loreena Mckennit and Enya. Kaleah accompanies herself at the piano, plays flute and uses several layers of harmonies in her recordings. Kaleah's latest CD, "The Road Home", released in January 2004, is a compilation of songs inspired by her personal journey over the past few years. In 2001, Kaleah relocated to Sedona, Arizona from Washington State with the intention of recording her second album. Sedona, being somewhat a metaphysical school, or "spiritual boot camp", gave her a crash course in personal growth keeping her on a musical sabbatical for over a year. Although she has written many songs since her debut album From The Shadows, Kaleah selected the songs that best represented the theme of her "Road Home" journey. After considering several different studios to record her project she ended up recording and producing herself, with the exception of one song. Kaleah was seeking the opportunity to truly capture her authentic musical expression without external influence. A true artist, Kaleah continue's to inspire her audiences with music that touches the soul and awakens a desire to live the authentic life.
