How many breaths do you focus on before your mind wanders?

Come back to your breath.
Your mind will wander.
Come back to your breath again.
When you realize your mind is wandering,
Simply bring it back to the breath.
No self-criticism. No recriminations. No blame.
Simply return to the breath.
Criticizing yourself feeds the forces of distraction.
You are continuing to think.
Meditation is not what you think.
You are not sitting to think. You are sitting to meditate.
