The music that you are about to hear is based off an old theory that scales can produce feelings. I based my orchestration on the "modal system". This is a system that was actually around the Renaissance era, however didn't get popular until the late post-romantic era. Modes are actual scales however each scale is based off the C major scale. My goal in writing was such that the listener would feel moods in the melody. I spent many years in developing this system. Miles Davis used it in his "modal jazz" music. I, however, used it in a new age style of music. My music is a mixture of new age background filled with acoustic or electric guitar. My main instrument is the guitar, however, I can play percussions, all of the strings, and piano. The music I write is considered by most critiques as World Fusion, I call it my own.
Send Angels with its great success was set up in a way to show the quality of the guitar, both acoustic and electric. All music on the album was written, composed and performed by me. "Tears of love" is an instrumental using both the steal acoustic and classical guitar. The song, "All the lonely people" combined classical guitar with blues lead. The best song "Send Angels" is a new age song. It is the favorite of the fans. I personally like the song, "Kchuchurine Princess". This song actually tells a story using melody instead of words.
Moon Dance was critique to have a collection of moods. From the aggressive songs like "The kiss and the chase' to "Birds of desire". Most radio stations liked the song, "Christina's home" very Latin feel with soft melodies. Most of my fans have written in and said the music they enjoy the most is the acoustical guitar music. I believe that is why "Steal away" has done so well on airplay. I do feel that this album has everything for everyone, from Jazz to New Age.
If you have any questions about these albums please feel free to contact me at my e-mail address or by phone. I hope that you enjoy the music! God Bless.

My name is Richard J. Falcon Jr. I am an instrumentalist from western Kansas. I have been performing professionally for fifteen years. Once signed with Cheyenne West Entertainment, I toured most of the mid west area. I was the guitarist for the band "Impact" and "Savior-Fare". After that I studied classical guitar for three years, then went on to play recitals in and around the area. I continued my musical studies of Jazz music and music theory. In 1996 I wrote my first instrumental album "Send Angels", then was immediately signed by Carefree Records in Carefree, AZ. The Album was looking for major label success and caught the ear of a lot of foreign labels. Finally the album was released in 2000 under Damage Records. In 2001 the song "All the lonely people" won the 2001 Phi Theta Kappa award for Outstanding Art Project for the Kansas Region. Beating out artist, sculptures and other musicians. There were four songs that were on the active play list of High Plains Public Radio from the album. These songs included "Send Angels", "So this Is Love", "Spanish Fire" and "Jessica's Tango". In the year of 2003 the long awaited release of "Moon Dance" finally came out! Two more radio station aired the CD. Kansas Radio out of Hutchinson picked three songs off of the album to play on their active play list. "Christina's Home", "Steal Away" and Little Ballerina". In the month of June they will do a show dedicated in promoting the album. The radio station has requested "Send Angels" and wants me to make a live appearance at their station. "Eagle Radio" has aired "Steal Away" on their station calling it the most outstanding album from a Kansas artist. Eagle Radio is a pop station that airs top forty music and both the Dj's and the radio stations manager highly recommend the album to all of their listeners!
