Paul, Copeland, 2002-08-05, IP:150.101.209.104 Rating: 8,00 Spiritus's music is varied and quite original. All in All (Organ Piece)is a classical composition in a harmonic medium as opposed to being a contrapuntal work. Although the organ is synthesized the sound is very good and memorable. My only criticism of this piece, is that perhaps it is a little too long, weighing in at 9 minutes 36 seconds. There is a Light is a sombre soundscape, played at a slow tempo which does build up in speed towards the end. The orchestration is imaginative. Another piece that goes for a quite a while - 7 minutes 56 seconds. I seem to be repeating myself, but I would have been happier if the duration of the work was reduced. It is a good idea to have the audience always wanting more. Having said all of that, Spiritus's music is well worth the listen. Well done. Artist description: Spiritus work with music as a language to say and paint soundscapes that takes the hidden to show. What is life? Where are we coming from? Where are we going? Those are the mysterious things about life these questions are always waiting to be answered. Is there a right and wrong? (SEE MY LINK TO: A.M.O.R.C. Antiqus Mysticusque ordo Rosae Crusis) What are music? I believe that music is a mirror translated language, every movement every will, every thinking and feeling can be translated into sound. Sound is a kind of value that can be find in Cosmos. So it is very interesting to find sounds and decide what it means. And the character of the notes and the importance of the breathing(pausenotes)that builds up the right character of the being you will shaw. I started very young to find answers to all the big questions through, all religions, sciences. I could not accept all pain in the world. I saw a possibility to build a society built on harmony. So therefore I was drawn to all types of Crea-tive performance: THE ART, is a possibility to say the truths and increase the knowledge for the future. I`ve been doing music in different forms all my life. When I was 25 years, the art took over, and the music played the second violin. But my listening to music was growing at the same time I painted, listen to much classic music and building up my inner landscapes. And I have always been a great believer to justice and peace. I believe that humans can archive totally peace for every existent, that is our task, to fulfill the universe with harmony. I believed that I could write a book about that, since I have so much theories. But creativity are floating out of me I can't stop. The book have to wait "The great book." But in music I find a way to opened this truths. I have dreamed to create music, single working, but to do it 1978. It cost a lot, but when the computer made music become a reality. I believed that I could do that. So When I get my first computer and synth, it was like a bomb. In one year I made 2 CD:s and 1 with serious music.
