Terry Webster Ministries was born out of a passion for people who need Jesus Christ and the desire to bring them into His presence through Praise and Worship. Terry Webster was called into the Music Ministry 1989 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He immediately began to serve the Lord by starting a contemporary Christian band called "Open Hearts". They toured for 2 years to churches, youth camps, conferences and other special events. After studying music arranging at the University of Alabama, Terry began arranging and performing for various churches. He arranged and performed in the Garywood Assembly of God (Hueytown, AL) Easter Drama for 5 years. He also arranged for the Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama for 4 years. Terry and his wife Tammy are now serving in the music ministry at Double Oak Community Church in Chelsea, Alabama.
Terry has performed with many artists over the years. The list includes such trumpet artists as Doc Severensin, Allen Vizzutti and Phil Driscoll. There have been many others, but these three have inluenced Terry's style the most.
In October 2004, Terry released his first CD project called Worship. This project features several songs that have been an inspiration to Terry over the last 24 years of his career as a trumpet player. The project was written and designed in a manner so that the music itself could be used in as many different forms as possible. For example, most of the songs can be used to sing to or played to by most any instrument. The songs also have a multimedia element to them. During the CD premiere, Terry used a DVD click track to synchronize full motion video with lyrics while the band played the music. Terry is an accomplished multimedia developer as well. These talents combined have birthed a new ministry for Terry to use to capture the fascination and passion for why we all seek Jesus.
Terry met his wife Tammy while attending the University of Alabama. Tammy has a performance degree in voice. Terry and his wife Tammy have three beautiful and talented children as well. Jake, the oldest, is already an accomplished singer at the age of 11 and he is now taking trumpet lessons from Terry. Jessica at the age of 6 has already soloed in church and has a beautiful voice. Jared at the age of 4, although his true talent has not been realized, he is already capturing the hearts of others around him.
Terry and Tammy are committed to presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ anywhere that God opens the opportunity. They are not limited by denominational barriers and have brought the message of hope to many people all over the last 15 years.
