1010 Fear of a Blank Planet
While most artists are defining themselves in limited music industry
terms or comparing themselves to whatever is currently popular or
successful in the past, few have ever viewed themselves as "a phoenix
rising from the ashes."

In Kia Colton's new CD, Run, she presents her heroic style to commonly
bonding visions of life and the experiences we all share. For example
in the title song, she reminds us of those moments in our life when
everything seems to come together. You know what I mean. After what
seems to be an endless amount of time when nothing seems to be going
right and everything from work, to our family and friends and even life
seems to be against us. Those moments when we finally break loose and
things start to go our way. When the choices you made, especially the
hard ones, have turned out to be the right ones. Those times when we
finally start to see the real us.

From a woman lost in love, to a gambler, to a wild child, to the
transformer the songs keep coming back to the question. Are you living
your dreams? Are you taking the full ride? Do you really know how far
you can go? Run is the story of the alchemist. The hero that will step
into the unknown because through the ups and downs we gain the strength
to wake up to who we really are and enjoy the ride of our own creation.
The CD ultimately points out that in the end it is our own lives that
are the ultimate work of art.
