The new album of Switzerland based Peer Seemann is an innovative mixture of italian canzoni, electronic music and bossa nova.

Living in Zurich with a french-german-italian family tree he likes to combine different styles and influences, such as songs in the tradition of the great cantautori Fabrizio de André and Francesco de Gregori and electronic music from the likes of Console and Mark Bell.

„Vita chiara", which means „clear life", has become a very charming and yet relaxed album.

The voice, which is central in each of the ten songs, is telling all kinds of stories, which are taken from the artists experience. Often they have a cinematic or slightly absurd touch.

The album was completed in the Zurich based Echochamber studio, a melting pot for musicians of the most different musical directions. Besides the domining voice, the acoustic guitar and the electronic interludes, a beatiful double bass played by improv musician Christian Weber and a variety of percussion by Ali Salvioni can be heard on most of the tracks.

This is perfect music for a date including a great italian meal, to relax at home or to drive down the highway, preferably the italian Autostrada del Sole. For all aficionados of canzoni, bossa nova or tasteful electronic beats this should be worth lending an ear.
