Tory World is a solo recording artist residing in Seattle, Washington. He is originally from Madison, Wisconsin. His music stylings are the product of a hodge-podge of influences. He definitely has what it takes to be a mainstream crossover artist in the same vein as Prince and David Bowie. In his music you will consistently here pop sensibilities along with the influences of ‘80’s new wave, rock, industrial, hip-hop, and others. There are no limits with this guy and amazingly it works and the music still remains centered. Tory World had taken a break from the music industry after being a mastering engineer in New Orleans. He has decided to return with a new full-length album, title “I’m Being Sarcastic” which will be released in the spring of 2006. He has also return to audio mastering. If you are someone who likes a wide variety of pop music, especially with a soft spot for ‘80’s pop music, this artist is a sure bet for your enjoyment.
