Passionate about music. I am too.
My love for songwriting and performing goes back to my teens. I began playing piano at the age of 9 and started writing at 13. My dad wrote country music and had pretty good success...songs on a couple platinum albums by big name artists. Although I don't write country I learned alot about the craft from him. I love to create stories and good grooves to go with them. In February of this year the staff at VH1's "Song of the year" site found my song "Public Smiles and Private Tears" impressive enough to place me on there "Suggested Artist" list. Wow!!Whoopi!atta boy! Actually, I am grateful. Very. My new solo CD entitled "Hands Free of the Clock" contains 10 songs about time, love, life, God and death. It's my first self produced CD and I'm really looking forward to the feedback...well the good stuff anyway...not so good feedback...I do value it and will use whatever I can grow on. It's all good. If vocal styling, catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics are what you're into I just might get you movin that ass and singin' along. Check it out...listen to the music...if you like it buy the CD so I can continue supporting my musical addiction and then let me know what you think! I'd love to hear from you. P.S. I don't know if you realize it or not but I wanna make sure....CD Baby is a great support to all of us struggling musicians. Tell as many people as you can about them.
