If you had one last wish, do you know what it would be? Well, the members of A Third Wish Granted got a fortune so rarely attainable that it might as well had been a wish come true. Encompassed by a unique camaraderie, they had formed a union of alternative, modern, and classic rock with a middle-eastern touch. ATWG is one of LA's most talked about and fastest rising unsigned and unrepresented bands. Like a 'rock band's literal meaning, their sound is as solid as a rock, and the brotherhood shared between them is truly a rare bond. ATWG has played such venues as The Whisky a Go Go, The Viper Room, The Knitting Factory, The Galaxy Theatre, and the Cat Club. Their work has been produced by Thom Hazaert and grammy-winner Warren Riker and mastered by grammy-winner Gavin Lurssen. There is a story that tells the tale of the birth of this great LA rock band. Each member truly brings his character and skill to the band in equal fashion. When Arab-American Emo Aladdin first moved out from his home in the middle east to LA to start his journey to stardom, he was quickly exposed to a humbling reality check. He thought his unearthly vocals, catchy melodies, and mesmerizing stage presence were enough to reach his goals of rock stardom. But with the change in "the industry", his success required much more than his qualities, it was necessary to find a supporting cast of equally talented musicians in order to reach his dreams. He then set off to find the final elements which would eventually become ATWG. It took Emo almost a year to cross paths with guitarist Jesse DeSanto. His unique blend of sweet riffs and penetrating solos provided such a complimentary mesh with Emo's lyrics and melodies that this combination has been once coined as the Yin and the Yang. The final element was found in guitarist Adam Strauss. One would think that a Palestinian and a Jew would never join forces in such a high profile union like a rock band; but Emo and Adam's instant friendship and Adam's ability to back up Jesse on guitar with such authority far surpassed the political and cultural ramifications. What started out as one man's journey has turned into something much bigger. It has turned into a group's quest to attain the unattainable, to reach the stars, and indeed what has materialized is the birth of a legendary band of brothers.
