Within the Pale of Black Rapids is the Bad Cats first album. It was released on May 15, 2005 in Ottawa, Canada, to great acclaim by the band members’ family… or so we were told. The songs are influenced by the classic sixties and seventies rock bands, especially The Kinks. There are no synths to be heard and the sound is more raw than overproduced. The Bad Cats have recorded their second album and it should be ready by the end of April. Both albums were recorded at Little Bullhorn Studio in Ottawa.
