CoMachine fuses the forces of three accomplished San Jose based composer/musicians: Jack Grossman, Jesse Stokes and Bill Lonero. Together, they have crafted a 12 song concept CD incorporating the collective styles and visions of each vintage player.

The experience and dedication of each has earned the development of unique styles, and venues, while amassing a maturity and conviction towards determining one collaborative vision.

Their music has been described as “Industrial Gothic' and “Gothic Machinery” with a strong sense of vintage rock.

“We have reached deep into the sonic sanctuary of expression for the collective vision we call CoMachine”

Music

The sounds, sonics, lyrics and emotions of CoMachine is an enigma of many subliminal references of what has inspired and driven each of us in our own musical legacy. Try to remember the first time you heard Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love' or Hendrix's 'Watchtower'. The profound sense that, even though you didn't quite grasp it at the time, you instinctively knew that there was true conviction of movement and emotion, transcending and ascending all that has been before, and perhaps since. This is the essence of what we have strived to create as CoMachine.

Concept

Even though this project has been emotionally and professionally gratifying, the album concept is actually quite dark. CoMachine reveals and exploits the human and societal condition of destruction through self-doubt and co-dependency. Perhaps the inability to recognize and respond to the reality that none of us are at the center of the universe. In fact, as reality sets in, one realizes just how insignificant we all really are in the omniscience of our personal and collective sojourn.

In full belief and commitment to the above, we now expose ourselves with the release of this album. All our hopes, dreams, aspirations and convictions are here for all to see and interpret for themselves. We now invite you to experience our most sincere vulnerabilities as we reveal our most personal emotional exaltations and fears from within and without…enjoy and be real. – CoMachine

Critiques

I like the sound of CoMachine. It combines the sounds of various bands and artists from the past three decades. I heard a little bit of VanHalen… The song “I Would Love To” seemed to evoke some Led Zeppelin! I think the world may be ready for a resurgence in these lost art forms. Keep in touch! - Michaelantonio - Independent Talent Coordinator ~ E- Insider

CoMachine is prophetic! The hair will raise on the back of your neck several times during this very intense album. Not for the weak of mind or heart. – Bent Halverson

In a drowning sea of shallow, self-indulgent, self-adulating, pre-(and post) Madonna venues, this album is a welcome adventure into the mayhem and debauchery of industrial rock sonics, coupled with a cold yet honest testiment to the disposition of the human spirit. - Toby Zimmerer
