Dead End Jane’s original Rock n’ Roll music is truly melting their musical influences of AC/DC, Guns n’ Roses, Aerosmith, and Jimi Hendrix. Bourke Armour (the only USA native in this bunch) leads with his rough and raspy, whiskey throat vocal style, chunky rhythm guitar and a gutsy stage presence. German drummer Bastian Kirchdoerfer has toured throughout Europe with “Barock,†the worlds best AC/DC tribute band and drives his monstrous sounding drumming & conviction to Dead End Jane’s music project. Swedish bassist Johan Lindh’s timing, but most importantly his groove, is the perfect match for band’s rock style. Hailing from Norway, lead guitarist Fredrik Ramberg, sports spine tingling solos with a forceful Rock n’ Roll demeaner. Together, the four have come together to form Dead End Jane; a powerful, raw, and honest Rock n’ Roll band dedicated to hit every stage like a solid punch, keeping their audiences riveted for the entire night of music.
This wild music team has been selling out gigs since early 2004 at many of the infamous LA clubs & has opened for Pat Benatar, Nashville Pussy, Home Grown, Rusty Anderson (Paul McCartney’s guitarist) plus other national acts. Also, a number of Dead End Jane’s songs were highlighted in a number of indie films showcased at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.
Late January 2006 marks the release of their first Album “Nicotine Queenâ€.
With Dead End Jane at the helm, Rock n’ Roll just got a lot more honest. They will be touring the US and Europe throughout 2006…so catch them when you can!
