Echo Of Souls is a Northern California hard rock band from the South Bay Area of San Francisco. The music of Echo Of Souls is laced with both classic and contemporary sounds and influences; their music being defined by a strong vocal presence, underlined by rich guitar tones and solo fluency. The compliment of individual talent is what sets them apart. The band is simply a group of four very skilled musicians doing what each does best together; the end result being a lush collaboration with original style.
From the first note, vocal and chorus hit, it will become evident that the music of Echo Of Souls has the ability to pull their audience in. Their self-produced, self-titled debut CD, finished in the fall of 2005 and being released in 2006, spared no expense in engineering, production, and mastering. The 10-song CD also includes a well produced cover of Peter Gabriel’s "Games Without Frontiers" – commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the original radio hit. Echo Of Souls is actively promoting the debut CD and has had a full schedule already in 2006. Planning to tour in support of the CD and generate label interest, the initial marketing campaign advertises the release of the disc and targets regional and national trade publications; such as Music Connection and Zero magazines. "We've given a lot to the production of this disc and its release; begging, borrowing and stealing to make it happen. We are definitely at a point where we just want to play and be the music that we worked so hard to create," says Ron Wright, Echo Of Souls vocalist and guitar player. "Full-length albums are great and it's been gratifying to finally hear our music back in its fullest form. We're very proud of what we accomplished in the studio. Now, the only thing left is to push everything we have out in front of as many people as we can." Echo Of Souls convey originality through their music by commanding a high level of musical competency in each of its players. The songs of Echo Of Souls do offer the modern, hard rock fanatic a refreshing return to the honesty in performance recording and sound production that, at one time, defined an entire genre of music – complete with the live show picking up where the album left you off; both visually and sonically. Their brand of hard rock music, like the name, truly reflects who they are; indeed, an echo of souls.
