"...these guys have got potentially the best mix of 80's glam, 90's grunge and good 70's arena rock going." - Mike SOS - Skratch

"...this is what melodic rock should be!"
- Get Fancy

These are just a few of the things people are saying about FLUPEJAC. Originally hailing from Poughkeepsie, NY and now residing in the most unlikely of places, Hollywood, CA, here's a band with a real gimmick...they simply rock!

Here with the release of their second album "who's your daddy?"(already licensed for MTV's Undressed) on LAND SPEED RECORDS, this power trio is out to prove that great rock doesn't need gimmicks. On the heels of their debut release, Like It Is... (also on LAND SPEEED), which included "BRAND NEW HEAVY" (featured on FOX Television's FREAKY LINKS, from the creators of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and selected as the "Alternative Pick of the Week" on the Ultimate Band List, www.UBL.com) and "ONE TO GO ON" (featured in the June 2001 issue of BASS PLAYER), FLUPEJAC offer up another helping of tight musicianship and melodious vocals.

Recorded and mixed in only 7 days in May of 2001 at Rollercoaster Recording in Burbank, CA, and co-produced by David Newton (formerly of THE MIGHTY LEMON DROPS), FLUPEJAC pull off the difficult musical task of sounding familiar without plagiarizing any world famous rock bands. Having been likened to SMASHING PUMPKINS in their hey-day with "vocals a skosh on the MARK ARM side of life"(Ms. Molly Van, Bandoppler Radio), as well as STP and NIRVANA, FLUPEJAC have come up with another record that deserves your undivided attention.

As Brian Connelly of MuzikMan's Sound Script wrote, "...you can't help but be inspired by a band that manages to live in the wallowing superficial decay of image-conscience Los Angeles, filled to the brim with glam rock and faddy ska-punk and metal bands, and still remain so simple and true."

'nuff said!
