J.C. auto ...Punk/Rock that goes to 11! We'll be the first to admit that we tip our hat in many directions when it comes to our style. Our influences range from Hot Water Music and Samiam to The Ramones and Motorhead. The underlying theme in what we are all about is just straight up Loud Rock and Roll and we make no bones about it.
Our album "le Diable Probablement..." released in October 2002 is basically a studio version of our live set with few exceptions. At ten songs, it's short and sweet and made to be played at maximum volume. J.C. auto is: James Cain: Lead Vocals/Guitar...James is without a doubt the frontman, he writes a majority of the songs and sings them as loud as he can (plus he has been known to give up the occasional Les Paul to the smashed guitar gods) Tracy Kathka: Drums...Tracy is widely regarded as one of the most intense female drummers on the planet! We literally have to nail her kit to the stage to keep it from ending up in the front row. Tim Mitchell: Lead Guitar/Vocals...They forgot to tell Tim that it isn't cool to do solos ala Angus Young during every other song anymore; which is exactly what he's doing when he's not trying to steal the spotlight from James. Pat McKay: Bass...Pat or 'Peaches' as we call him is the consummate professional on the Bass. His amp has the most girth and he's not afraid to show it off! J.C. auto formed in mid 2001 in Ennis MT, which in case you're wondering makes the middle of nowhere look like Metropolis. After religiously rehearsing 3 nights a week for 6 months (I mean, what else did we have to do) we played our first gig in January 2002 and haven't look back since. In fact, our 50th show was exactly one year to the day from our 1st show. 2003 is proving to be even busier for us with having already played 20 shows and its still only March (at the time of this writing). So if you see us on the road, come check us out...we won't disappoint...and remember, J.C. auto goes to 11! Check out the artist's website: http://www.jc-auto.com Track List: 1. My First Million 2.
