I have been on a lifelong spiritual, musical journey constantly seeking out as much musical knowledge and wisdom from books, friends, and mentors as possible. To be a successful musician in this world, you’ve got to live it. It’s not about the money or fame, it’s knowing that you’ve done everything in your power to play with people better than yourself and challenge yourself musically every day. Knowing music is one thing, but playing with passion, feeling, and from the heart is everything. So, in the words of Frank Zappa, “just shut up and playâ€.
