Jettison is the music and life of one person. Brent Venderley started playing violin at an early age and since has become proficient playing a handful of instruments. "Flooding Light" is his first solo project that comes on the heals of the life experience of being involved in music scenes from L.A. to Louisville, and touring with a self supported original act based out of Cincinnati. With "Flooding Light" Brent brings to the forefront his musical maturity, his engineering/production experience with rock and hip hop, and his formal education in psychology, all packaged neatly in a provocative self recorded, self produced full length CD and a rip your head off Street Rock live show.
Jettison is me; all of me, my experiences put to music. There is not one word, one note that does not portray the resounding sound of this life's soul. "Flooding Light" is self produced with intent and purpose in every drum and bass groove, every stripped down guitar riff, and in every rap and grunge influenced melody sang, to aggressively portray the evolution of a musical vision. "Flooding Light" holds within it the desire to replace pop drivel with emotional, meaningful, cutting edge Indie Rock.
