Joshua Sun is powerful, energy-infused modern rock outfit that over the last few years has become one of southern Mississippi's most recognized independent artist thanks in part to their highly accessible songwriting, frequent media coverage, and large scale performances. They've on numerous occasions been featured on the ABC news (WLOX) and Fox programing (WXXV) as well as receive regular press coverage in several regional newspapers (Sun Herald, Mississippi Press, Coast Night Life, Mobile Press, etc.). The group has also garnered the attention of a number of professional radio personalities and receives regular FM broadcast from radio stations ranging from Texas to Florida as well as National XM-Radio. As their unity, performance, and fan base steadily increases and with the debut of their first album, only much more can be expected for this group in future - that is if they don't break-up first.
The music of Joshua Sun is the unlikely product of five young, completely different type of guys from completely different areas of the country who randomly merged together (thanks to the power of the internet) in the Gulf Coast on a quest to be the best they could as songwriting musicians.

They've won several battle-of-the-bands type showcases and have opened up for numerous national acts, playing for crowds as large as eight thousand. This has also partly been responsible for their much gained support from their regional rock radio station's (WCPR 97.9 & TK101.5) DJs and national XM-Radio CH.52, getting airplay very regularly. Some of the bands that JoshuaSun has shared the stage with includes Saliva, Trapt, Theory of a Deadman, Foghat, Smile Empty Soul, Doubledrive, Atomship, Outspoken, and Slur.
