Last Nerve was formed in the winter of 1994/1995 in Tri-Cities, WA. Members, Bassist: Dan Kerr, Drummer: Don Rogers and Guitarist: Glenn Waters, began building a foundation that would launch one of the area's heaviest bands. The band was constantly evolving musically from the inception of the band. After playing as a three-piece band for three years, they introduced guitarist Dale Garrity to the lineup. Filling that certain void in the musical foundation, Dale was a major asset to the band and it's music. Last Nerve played many shows throughout the Tri-Cities area, but still needed that little something to really set them off. In the spring of 1999, the band introduced vocalist, Steven Evans to the mix. Finally a singer that compliments the music, and that can project the same intensity as the band's players. In the fall of 2000, after personal difficulties beyond the band's control, Don Rogers left the band. Determined to keep the energy of the band alive, Last Nerve recruited the talents of Bret Smith. Bret brings some amazingly talented drum techniques and musicianship to the music that makes Last Nerve what it is today. Last Nerve's sound was now quickly becoming more and more focused. Their first CD release, 1999's "Same Difference", shows the band paying heavy debt to the bands that were their main inspirations. Heavily in the Pantera/Megadeth vein, "Same Difference" is just a precursor of things to come. Now with their 2002 sophomore release "Chemical Drive" the band shows their true musicianship and song writing abilities. The band's crushing guitar riffage hopes to make heavy music in vogue again, a trend that all but disappeared with the popularity of alternative and grunge rock. With the release of "Chemical Drive" they hope to set the world on its collective ear. Last Nerve hopes to claim their rightful place among the amazingly talented list of heavy music bands.
