Lee Roy Smilee is three brothers from Brooklyn who have been on the local New York music scene for several years. Tom Roberto, Mike Roberto and John Roberto are songwriters and multi-instrumentalist who not only write their own material, but play all the needed instruments and within the three members, handle all vocal responsibilities. Drawing influences from some of the greatest British bands of the 60's and 70's, Lee Roy Smilee adds a modern twist to this sound with clear production, clever arrangements, and a solid sense of melody. Handling the production of their music leaves Lee Roy Smilee free to experiment and use the studio as a blank canvas to create a full song filled with depth, emotion and raw guts and power.
