Having grown tired of band after band of watered-down “nu-metalâ€, Lost Souls Division brings a form of honest, pure music that only now seems to be re-emerging from the Seattle sound of the early 90’s and the heyday of Metal in the early 80s. Beat-and-riff-driven hard rock/heavy metal with true to life lyrics, and an emphasis on solid, creative musicianship.
Their debut album, Ghosts of Our Time (Vitriol Records, 2005) features 12 solid tracks which follows the lives of random people, soldiers, heroes, media hounds, addicts, only to reach one inevitable conclusion.
With an unfortunate trend in music where a lot of bands have little to say, and even less to play, Lost Souls Division is determined to help bring Hard Rock and Heavy Metal full circle once again.
