At the core of Mystic Nation are Goliath, Chris, Darron and Jeremy.
Goliath serves as the backbone of the band, having formed the original group in Spokane Washington, and then known as The Mystics. After several years in various groups, Goliath resurrected the Mystics as the Mystic Nation and stepped into the studio with little preparation, but a strong sense of direction and a wealth of ideas.
Chris is the heart of the rhythm section on bass. Beyond playing bass he is a musician with clarity and focus, offering his talents on percussion, strings, flute and background vocals as well. He provides a strong counter balance to the excesses of Goliath both in the studio and on the stage.
Darron is an eclectic gem of a lead singer who brings a sense of melody and thought into how a song is sung, and how the story of the song is presented. His pure voice and commanding presence is a rare commodity, and his humble approach lends a sense of innocence and depth to Mystic Nation. Darron is also a highly accomplished drummer who recorded all the drums on Breaking Bread.
Jeremy is the drummer and rounds out the rhythm section. Where darron left of on Breaking Bread, Jeremy picks up without hesitation during a live show. At 16 he has proven beyond his years an ability to drive the music with a force and maturity that simply amazes those who have been lucky to see him perform.
The result is Breaking Bread, a raw, well balanced album filled with powerful arrangements, musical twists and plenty of passion and emotive lyrics. The foundation is Rock n Roll, the colors a palette of experimentation and free form chances bonded in Jazz, Metal, Folk and the Electronic.
