Rusty Lemon was loosely formed in the early winter of 2004, after a late night that included some unpleasant sentiment, some Old Charter and a couple of guitars. Since that first writing session, members have been added, livers have been damaged and a record finished. Since all these players have survived many lost & forgotten (maybe not) Memphis musical collectives, you can expect some hidden gems discovered only through life experiences (you'll find no smooth-cheeked kids in THIS band!).
Produced by the inimitable Ross Rice, this band has an all-star cast of southern musicians and producers, including a loooong weekend with Levon Helm in upstate New York.
