hailing from new york city,sima is a powerful vocalist and songwriter who has all the makings of rock star. at a young age she discoverd her love for music and began singing and performing. growing up she shared a room with her sister janet, a huge rock music fun, sima was introduced to bands like Metallica,Iron Maiden and Pink Floyd, and later became inspired by bands such as Nirvana, Led Zepplin, U2, Stone Tample pilots and Pearl Jam. not limited to the rock genre sima was also inspired by the strong vocals of Madonna, Bjork and Tori Amos .
in 1999, sima decided to leave her home , family and friends and moved to manhattan to pursue her dreams.
she soon met Diego and Aaron knight ,two young producers from London. the brothers belived that sima was a talented young singer songwriter and togther they created a sound that is fresh and unique. after two years of hard work and dedication sima was ready to record her album.
she traveled to ithaca and recorded her songs with mike parker and alex perialas, a producer who has worked with bands such as Anthrax and Over Kill .
her sound is a blend of soft metal and punk rock with lyrics that are true to her personality and life experiences.
these songs reflect the journey and experiences that everyone can relate to and understand.
