Long time friends and band members Ben, Wayne and Willie went through several band lineups before meeting John and forming Simian Cruise in 1996.
Each member brings his own perspective and influences to the creation of each song, which provides the band with a unique sound, despite the diversity of material.
This diversity enables Simian Cruise to be enjoyed by audiences with a wide range of musical tastes, from those who love soulful ballads or melodies, to fans of progressive metal, or straight-up "In Your Face" hard rock.
Recent appearances include a live performance and interview on the "Sully and Scooter" Morning show on San Diego's KSDO, and airplay on San Diego's KIOZ Rock 105.3 Toys for Tots promotion.
Stage appearances include opening performances for both L.A. Guns and Bullet Boys as well as a number of "Locals Only" club and outdoor shows.
Simian Cruise has recently released their debut CD titled"Cellular" on Finished Records.
The Tracks were recorded and mixed at the Simian Cruise-owned Rabid Recording Studios in San Diego.
The finishing touches were provided during mastering by Greg Fidelman of Rhino Bucket fame.
Writing is underway for the follow-up release, which is as yet unnamed.
